Our services

  • Optimization and consulting: Individual FEM simulations and design solutions based on in-depth analysis and specific requirements
  • Real-time measurement: use of an intelligent connector to measure current and temperature during operation
  • Error analysis and monitoring: precise examination of connections (e.g. soldered, crimped and press-fit contacts) and conductors (cables, buses) under realistic conditions, simulation of physical, chemical and thermal stresses
  • Test procedures and documentation: Combination of standardized and customized tests, accompanied by comprehensive documentation of all steps

Examination: precise failure analysis of electrical connections and conductors

To identify failures (defects) in electrical connections such as soldered, crimped and press-fit contacts, as well as in conductors such as cables and buses, we conduct comprehensive analyses under realistic conditions. To do this, we simulate physical, chemical, electrical and thermal stresses in controlled environments. If required, we can use our innovative, self-developed intelligent plug to enable real-time measurement of current and temperature directly during operation. By combining standardized and customized test procedures, we determine the maximum power dissipation and reliably identify potential weak points (single points of failure). This also includes the examination of wear between interacting surfaces (Tribology).

Consulting: Customized solutions based on in-depth analysis and FEM simulations

Our consulting services are based on seamless documentation of every step and the use of state-of-the-art measuring instruments. We don't just analyze error patterns such as increased temperatures or resistances; we get to the bottom of the causes. Using the finite element method (FEM), we create comprehensible simulations that are individually adapted to develop optimal solutions. In doing so, we take into account geometric, electrical and material parameters as well as specific operating conditions. Where necessary, we develop innovative designs that optimally meet the requirements and environments.
