Medical Wearables

Vital Parameter Monitoring for Preventive Health Care

Monitoring vital parameters such as blood oxygen saturation, pulse and temperature is crucial for assessing patients' health. This enables the early detection of potential diseases and helps to prevent serious health issues. Modern medical wearables are complex multi-sensor systems that are worn on the body. They must operate reliably and deliver accurate data. This multimodal sensor data can be analysed using machine learning algorithms to identify patterns that indicate specific diseases.

The occurrence of sudden changes in vital parameters can be a signal of conditions such as sepsis or wound infections. Implementing a warning system based on these data provides an opportunity to take early action and prevent complications. Continuous monitoring and analysis of vital parameters has great potential for early disease diagnosis and proactive healthcare.
